Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of knowledge of micro business actors on Islamic bank products in Pekanbaru City. Currently, there are still many who think that saving at Islamic banks is the same as saving at conventional banks. This is due to the lack of public knowledge about the activities of Islamic banks and the lack of socialization associated with Islamic banks. Micro enterprises are one of the components of business actors that have a considerable role in creating jobs in Indonesia, with the number reaching 98% of all business units. The existence of micro businesses is needed by the community, especially people with economic capabilities at the bottom level. For this reason, Islamic banking has a strategic role for micro entrepreneurs in funding/capital issues in developing their businesses. However, the fact is that the realization of Indonesia's KUR distribution in 2021 until June is still very dominated by conventional banking with 98.4% of debtors while Islamic banking is only 1.6%. This research was conducted on micro business actors. The data collection technique in this study used questionnaires distributed to micro entrepreneurs using the Likert scale method. This type of research is field research using quantitative research methods. In analyzing the data, descriptive analysis was carried out using SPSS version 26. Based on the results of the research analysis of the level of knowledge of micro business actors on Islamic bank products in Pekanbaru City, it can be concluded that P = 58%, the value is in the range of 41-60%, which is sufficient, then the analysis of the level of knowledge of micro business actors on Islamic bank products in Pekanbaru City is quite knowledgeable with a percentage of 58%.
