Kaedah Pendalilan Sunnah dan Aplikasinya dalam Kewangan Islam Semasa
(Sunnah Reasoning Method and Its Application in Current Islamic Finance)

This study explores the Sunnah reasoning method and its application in current Islamic finance. The starting point of this study is the importance of the role of the Sunnah as the second highest reference for Muslims in solving current muamalat issues to align with the Sharia requirements. This study uses a qualitative approach involving a literature review, including relevant books, journals and circulars. The materials obtained will be analyzed using the document analysis method. The results of the study found that there is the application of the Sunnah in issues that include the prohibition of riba al-duyun, deposit payments on AITAB contracts, imposing fines for late payment of installments known as ta’wid and gharamah, the sale of collateral assets if the beneficiary fails, the use of the concept of hibah (grant) in contracts al-ijarah thumma al-bai’ and Islamic credit cards based on the concept of ujrah. Thus, it can be concluded that the Sunnah plays an important role in being the primary reference for current Islamic financial issues. Therefore, it is recommended that the current Islamic financial industry operators understand Sunnah well.
